The title riffs on Im Westen nichts Neues (All Quiet on the Western Front), because the West Pest is a West Coast synth: Cre8audio's small semi-modular built around a wavefolder and a low-pass gate instead of the usual subtractive filter. Moog Mavis is the East Coast counterpart, with a classic Moog ladder filter. With both patch bays in reach, they can modulate each other.
The pair kept coming back after this first jam: an FM jam the next day, then Left To Their Own Devices and the Drone Machine.
