Synthstrom Deluge & Zoia - Granular Oscillator

Exploring the idea by Nick Batt and Matt Hodson of using a reverb as an oscillator. Nick mentioned Clouds so I decided to test Zoia's granular module. And it works great with the Deluge. Although you need to tweak the grains and levels to avoid clipping.

Here's the Sonic Talk episode where they talk about this: https://youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=4BVe9fLOqvU&t=41ms40s

The idea: feed a short burst or a held note into an effect that never lets go of it, and the effect itself becomes the sound source. Clouds-style granular processors are good at this because they keep chopping the same small piece of audio into new grains. Here the Synthstrom Deluge provides the input and sequencing, and an Empress Zoia patch with its granular module turns that into a sustained, playable tone.

More Zoia patches on the Zoia tag, and the two together again in Loopy jam with Zoia and Deluge.
