#smpltrek

The Sonicware SmplTrek is a portable sampler and multitrack recorder — sampling, sequencing, insert effects and mixdown in one battery-powered box.

It carried the whole of Jamuary 2023, including a Gibson Les Paul recorded straight in through the device's Metal Amp insert effect, and a jam built on Berlin Orchestra samples. Mixed on the device, recorded into Logic with no plugins.
